The Amazon’s Kindle tablet is finally here – and it’s amazing! Amazon’s tablet/slate will be among the best Android tablets of 2012.

The Kindle Fire is a color Kindle for movies, music, TV shows, magazines, books, apps, games, web browsing and more, for only $199. The Amazon tablet could pose the most serious challenge yet to Apple’s dominance of the fast-growing market for touchscreen tablet computers. The iPad and the Nook are priced significantly higher.

Amazon also refreshed its line of e-readers with a $149 Kindle Touch 3G, a $99 Kindle Touch without 3G, and a non-Touch $79 Kindle.

The Kindle Android tablet, does email, web browsing, photo viewing, video game, movie and music playing just like other Android tablets. On the bottom of the tablet screen, users can feature their favorite apps, books, and other media.

The Kindle Fire features a new browser called “Amazon Silk” – an ultra-fast mobile browser available exclusively on Kindle Fire. An e-mail app is also built-in, with support for multiple mail services in a single inbox.

The Kindle Fire costs $199, including a free month of Amazon Prime, and ships November 15.
